Pamela L. Hancock
Attorney Pamela Hancock is the founder of the Hancock Law Firm, PLLC, a Jackson law firm established in 2001 and serving the greater Jackson area in a wide range of civil and criminal legal matters, including estate planning, criminal defense, family law and other areas. Pamela has been practicing law since 1997 and brings a wealth of experience to her Jackson practice, including large law firm experience in mass torts, construction law, products liability and commercial litigation; and civil and criminal litigation experience as Madison Assistant City Prosecutor from 2003-2009 and Hinds County Drug Court Prosecutor (2010-2011), where she tried hundreds of civil and criminal cases.
Pamela received her J.D., cum laude, from Mississippi College School of Law, where she was a Hearin-Hess Scholar and served on the Dean’s Advisory Committee and Mississippi College Law Review. Her legal practice focuses primarily in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Probate, Estate & Business Planning, Corporate Law, Family Law and Civil Litigation. She also acts as a mediator in these and other types of cases.
Pamela is active in the community as well. She volunteers with the American Cancer Society, is Past President and Gala Chair of The Cancer League, and is an honorary member of the Traceland North Garden Club. She enjoys networking with other professionals and is a member of the Madison County Business League, Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership, City of Ridgeland Chamber and Madison County Chamber. She is also a member of the Leadership Madison County Class of 2015, and the Capital Area Sunset Rotary Club.
